Content:

This programme considers the subject in breadth. Students will learn how to teach the subject, and how to use art and crafts in theme and project work. Students will be encouraged to see the possibilities for interdisciplinary cooperation between the arts and crafts subjects, as well as between other subjects in schools. An important part of the programme will be the original creative work of the student.

Careers/further studies:

Arts and Crafts I and II, together with General Teacher Education or BA/BSc with Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, may fulfil the admission requirements for MA in Art and Design Education.
