Content:

This further education programme uses clay as a material for both design and expression. Students are taught to create practical objects as well as to sculpt, with the objective of teaching in schools or for personal development. Research and development work also form part of the programme. Subject didactics is also studied when Clay and Ceramics is taken as part of the 3-year Subject Teacher: Education in the Arts programme.

The programme includes:

• Utilitarian forms, function, shape and ornament (20 ECTS)
• Sculpture and three-dimensional work (20 ECTS)
• Individual project (topic chosen by student) (20 ECTS)
