Content:

This is a one-year programme in which students develop their skills in and understanding of the use of textiles. The programme takes a close look at clothes in the world of fashion today, design and communication and choice of suitable materials and techniques. Students will work on composition, style and colour, pattern-making and fashion illustration, and the design process from idea to finished product. Research and development work also forms part of the programme. Subject didactics is studied when Textiles is taken as part of the 3-year Subject Teacher: Education in the Arts bachelor programme.
The programme includes:
Materials, tools and techniques (10 ECTS)
utility design, product development (18 ECTS)
textiles and images, sculpture or installation (12 ECTS)
final project (20 ECTS)
