This is a one-year programme of further study. We attempt to adopt elements from folk culture into a present day context in order to create good contemporary products. The programme has two main components. The common component is a continuation of the foundation programme in folk art which will provide students with experience and insight into the creative processes of folk art, the mediation of cultural and traditional material and research and development work. In the specialisation component, students may choose between design or product development in wood, textiles or metal.
