This programme covers the specialisation requirement in the BA in History. It takes as its starting point the fact that the Nordic region may be considered to have common cultural, social and political characteristics. The programme provides students with an insight into the changing meaning of the ‘Nordic Region’ in history, and how we may understand differences and similarities between the Nordic countries. The programme also investigates current historical research in other Nordic Countries and discusses historiographical methodology. Together with History, 1-year programme, this programme forms part of the specialist component of the Bachelor’s degree in History.
