Content:

This programme serves as a continuation and specialisation of the 1-year programme courses, and provides students with a more comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the same themes. Students must have achieved a pass mark in the compulsory test in linguistics prior to enrolling on this programme.

Specialised Course: British Literature and Culture (10 ECTS)
Specialised Course: American Literature and Culture (10 ECTS)
Specialised Course I: English Language (10 ECTS)

Teaching and learning methods:

Lectures, seminars, written and oral project work and submissions. The language of instruction is English. Each course is of one semester’s duration and includes both ongoing and final assessments.

Careers / further study:

Together with English Studies, 1-year Programme, this programme fulfils the requirement of the English specialisation component of a Bachelor’s degree.
