Content:

This programme provides a practical introduction to the important techno,ogy, methods and tools within information technology (IT).
Courses:
Hardware and Software (10 ECTS)
Databases I (10 ECTS)
Multimedia (10 ECTS)
Programming (10 ECTS)
IT Networks (10 ECTS)
Internet (10 ECTS)

Teaching and learning methods:

Lectures, supervised practice in the computer laboratory, supervised project work in groups, smaller projects integrated in courses and independent study. All courses are one semester long and include both a midterm and a final assessment.

Careers / further study:

This programme provides an introduction to computer science and may be combined with business studies, environmental studies or languages in a degree programme, or as a additional aspect to teacher education. It will enable more effective use of IT in professional life.

The programme qualifies for admission to both the 3 year degree programme in Computer Science and the programme in Computer Science and Business Studies.
