A choice of three different programmes is available. These are described
individually, but have the same code: SO 220 006. The first year of study is common for all three programmes.
Description in programme catalogue:
Programme: Electrical Power Engineering
Programme: Electronics Engineering
Porgramme: Computer Science & Industrial Automation
Content:
This programme provides a broad introduction to the key topics associated with electric power, such as measuring, regulation and control electronics, computer-aided design (CAD), programmable logical management, electrical machines and electrical plants, alternating current and high-tension technology. Students will learn how other forms of energy are converted to electrical energy, transported and used. In their project work, the students will learn problem solving and structured work methods. Moreover, students will learn to use electric power technology to solve industrial problems. Students may choose a supplementary course in IT or economics and management.
