To give students knowledge about structures of practical industrial automation systems for single processes and for an entire plant.

Course Description

Process functions, process dynamics, stabilization of processes using control, security, documentation, automation software and hardware, process simulation.

Assessment Methods

Intermediate written exam counting 40% of the final grade; Final written exam counting 60%. Compulsory excursion and other activities being defined at semester startup.
