Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to give the students basic knowledge in analysis and construction of instrumentation systems.
Learning Methods
Lecture, practical and laboratory exercises.
Course Description
Topics include: Accuracy, physical principles, EMC, signal treatment, technical safety, actuators, computer interfacing, datalogging, computer control of physical systems.
Assessment Methods
Mandatory exercises and compulsory laboratory tutorials. Written final examination counts 70% and laboratory work counts 30%. To get the final mark, the final examination must be passed.
