Course Objectives

The students should be able to design and to analyse small signal amplifiers with frequency dependent components and power amplifiers. An introduction to design of power supplies, will also be given.

Lectures, practical and laboratory exercises.

Course Description

 The course includes analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits containing frequency dependent components, basic theory and design of power amplifiers and power supplies. Small signal amplifiers with average frequency range.

Assessment Methods

 Mid semester examination 30%, written final examination counts 70%.
