Course Objectives

Students will learn how to use a computer for measurement and control of physical processes, and they will get basic knowledge on the application of drafting (CAD).

Course Description

PC components, digital I/O, time problems, feedback/no feedback control systems, analog signals, quantification, D/A and A/D converters, sampling theory, data handling, logical and sequential control, industrial data communication. Basic functions of 2D AutoCad.

Learning Methods

Lectures. Theoretical exercises. Computer exercises. Practical lab work.

Assessment Methods

Tests 40 %, final exam 60 %.
