When you register as a user at NTNU Bridge, you agree to the following terms and conditions of use:

  1. When you register as a user at NTNU Bridge, you consent to NTNU using, saving and publishing any information you have given on the registration form. Your information will only be used by NTNU and will not be sold or transferred to third parties, provided there are no laws that stipulate otherwise.
  2. The information on your profile will be used on the website www.ntnu.no/bridge. Your information will be used for two main purposes: 1) To connect you to relevant actors/projects on "My page", and 2) To enable other users to view your profile via a "newsfeed". If NTNU Bridge wishes to use your information for any other purpose, you will be asked to consent to such usage beforehand. NTNU agrees to use and process information on the website in accordance with The Personal Data Act. We recommend that users refrain from publishing sensitive information on the website.
  3. NTNU may compile information from the registration process and related to website traffic for statistical purposes. In such cases, information will be made anonymous.
  4. When you create a profile at NTNU Bridge, employers will be able to view student profiles and vice versa. You decide who can access your profile, in accordance with The Personal Data Act. Only registered users with a profile at NTNU Bridge can view other users' profiles. You will not have access to all services offered on the Bridge website until your profile is completed in full.
  5. NTNU reserves the right to remove unlawful, offensive or discriminatory content. Website editors reserve the right to exercise their own judgement in determining what content is to be considered as unlawful, offensive or discriminatory.
  6. Certain links on the portal may lead to websites that are not maintained or otherwise controlled by NTNU. NTNU can therefore not be held responsible for the content or accuracy of such websites.
  7. The website editor will make notes based on the contact information given on the registration form. NTNU may contact you in order to clarify any of your information or to obtain feedback.
