This programme of study deals with communication and dissemination in a wide sense. The programme is interdisciplinary and a few of the courses offer practical modules that may form the basis for further participation in programmes of professional study.
The specializations that represent the art part of the programme provide knowledge about and skills in one (or more) of the aesthetic subjects. A common objective is an understanding of various art forms as a combination of theory and practice, a critical approach towards finished products and knowledge about and skills required in the process of creating a product.
The specializations that represent media and communication provide insight into various communicative aspects of modern society and of human interaction, and critical understanding of communication processes. One course deals with applied linguistics, another with various media and their role as products created by culture.
The programme aims to provide a critical understanding of artistic and communicative processes and scientific and interdisciplinary approaches towards work in the areas of the programme.
