Application Fee

According to these regulations, a small company is a business with a permanent staff of 20 man-years or less. The number of man-years in companies that are a subsidiary of one another, must be combined when deciding whether or not the applicant is a small company. The applicant may be requested to produce documentary proof of the business being a small company. A private person is an individual representing only himself / herself.
An invoice for the application fee will be sent to the applicant, the amount payable within one month.
Fee for granting a patent

Annual fees fall due for the first time at the beginning of the third fee year. The amount then due is ....NOK 1650.
The payer of the annual fee will receive a receipt for the amount paid in to the NPO. This receipt gives no indication as to the legal status of the application, which may for example have been shelved or rejected in the meantime.
