International statistics cooperation
Cooperation within international statistics is becoming increasingly important for Statistics Norway and other parties interested in statistics in Norway, and under the terms of the EEA Agreement is more binding than ever before.
Cooperation requires considerable resources in, for example:
- Adapting the Norwegian statistical system to international standards
- Reporting requirements
- Meetings
The international work also helps to raise the quality of the Norwegian statistics.
