No changes in bus costs

The total cost index for bus transport for the 2nd quarter of this year remained unchanged compared with the previous quarter. From the 2nd quarter of 2013, the total costs increased by 1.7 per cent.

Labour costs increased by 0.5 per cent compared to Q1 2014, while administrative and maintenance costs increased by 0.3 and 0.9 per cent respectively. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2013, labour costs have increased by 2.6 per cent, while administrative and maintenance costs have increased by 2 and 3.9 per cent respectively in the same period.

The sub-index for fuel declined by 2.3 per cent, while the capital cost index was reduced by 8 per cent compared to Q1 2014. From Q2 2013 to Q2 2014 the fuel cost increased by 1.7 per cent, while the capital cost decreased by 8.4 per cent.
