From the committee room
The committee's responsibilities are matters relating to military defence, the Committee of the Ombudsman for the Armed Forces in Norway and general matters relating to civil defence. The committee shall continously monitor the preparedness measures taken in the sphere of both military and civil defence to ensure that they are in accordance with the powers and appropriations granted.
