The Semester Startup Help Desk for international students at the Student Centre will offer additional services related to the semester startup for new international students.

UiB's Semester Startup Help Desk is located on the first floor (street level) of the Student Centre, next to the SiB Housing Reception.
Opening hours autumn semester 2014:

The Semester Startup Help Desk can assist you with:
- General campus guidance
- Assistance in using online services
- Welcoming new students and handing out information
- Guidance on semester registration
- Signup for TB-testing
- Receiving the next of kin forms
- Receiving Travel Claim Forms
- Guidance to Quota Students when applying to the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen)
