The course provides an introduction into the theoretical and practical basis of nutrition-related analytical methods.

Learning Outcomes

It is expected that the student, after completing the course, will know how to:

- describe the basic principles of the methods used in nutrition

- explain the analytical methods used in research and routine (patients) work

and be able to:

- interpret data in terms of statistics and biological variation

- perform a critical evaluation of analysis results (blood/serum/plasma/urine/faeces)
