Audition

Individual auditions

Students are admitted on the basis of individual auditions which also include a proposed special subject area. A high level of excellence is required to be admitted to the programme.

Auditions are held during the period 3th - 7th March 2014. You will be contacted by e-mail about audition times. International applicants who are not able to do a personal audition must send an unedited, recently made recording of high quality of the self chosen audition repertoire with the application (DVD video of minimum 45 minutes length). The jury will carry out the interview with the applicant by telephone.

The applicants will be notified by email about the audition results. A passed audition result does not mean that the applicant is offered admission. Student Services at the University of Bergen will e-mail and send a Letter of Acceptance to accepted applicants. Student Services will also e-mail all applicants who are not offered admission.
