Research group for Reproductive, Child Health and Nutrition

Diarrhea, pneumonia, malnutrition, common infections and HIV infections are among the leading causes of poor health and death in young children in developing countries. Reducing both child mortality and maternal mortality are the targets of the Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5. The Child Health and Nutrition Research Group undertakes research with the ultimate aim to improve child health and survival in low and middle income countries (LMIC). The focus of the group is being expanded to include maternal health.
