LaunchBar is essential on your Mac
LaunchBar is one of the most important tools on my Mac. I prefer to do everything on my Mac from the keyboard. The mouse and the trackpad are low-bandwidth input devices. With LaunchBar you can start every application easily from the keyboard. You can also launch documents, folders, preference panes, web pages and tunes from iTunes using the same simple interface. It is not free, but I think the $20 (or $40, depending on license type) is a good investment.
