Closed vs open applications
Today I stopped using Entourage. The Apple iCal, Mail and Address Book applications will replace Entourage on my desktop. The main reason is that I want to integrate my calendar with online calendars (including events from different Plone based web sites I manage and other online calendars like the ones listed on iCalShare and Appels iCal library; the Norwegian hollidays calendar is a good example of a usefull online calendar). I belive that integration between applications and users should be easy, and the different Apple applications do this much better than Entourage. Open applications? Yes, please!
