The Tiger is installed on my box
Friday I upgraded my PowerBook to 10.4. This is a major upgrade, so if you like me do a lot of tweaks and strange stuff on your mac, do not expect everything to work as expected. I had some minor problems with a few of the applications I am using. The Safari plugins have to be upgraded (Saft, PitHelmet). CodeTek VirtualDesktop needs some minor tweaks. Launchd replaces xinted (more on that later). MacInTouch is a nice source for information about problems (and solutions) related to a Tiger upgrade. See Tiger Incompatibilities and Workarounds.
