Tiger installed, dashboard available, but is it as nice as konfabulator?
The short answer is no. Konfabulator is actually much better for my typical usage of such widgets. Dashboard widgets are not visible when I'm using other applications (at least not to my knowledge), and the user interface (the dark screen with widgets when Dashboard is selected) is not good. I want the widgets I'm using to be integrated on my desktop together with the other applications (and I'm using Desktop Manager to manage a lot of running applications and widgets). My conclusion is to ignore Dashboard and continue with Konfabulator (Konfabulator is not free [$20], but I just upgraded to 2.0 with no extra cost).
