Screencast

For a long time I have planned to say a few words about screencasts. I belive that Jon Udell is the source of this term (see screencasting strategies [or from O'Reilly Network] and screencast guidelines). I think it is cool way to demonstrate software (and other things on your computer screen), and I've started creating a few by myself (using Snapz Pro X Movie Capture). A lot of different tools can be used to create screencasts, and some even suggests to create a lot of screen shots and annotate them (PDF screencasts). Follow the references in this posting to learn more about screencasts and screnncasts tools.
