VoodooPad

From its home page:

VoodooPad is a new kind of notepad. It's like having your own digital junk drawer where you can jot down notes, web addresses, to-do lists... Anything on your mind. VoodooPad automatically links each page together, to form a miniature world wide web, on your desktop!

Another cool tool from the creators of VoodooPad is FlySketch. It is a litle bit difficult to explain what i does, but it is a sort of drawing and capturing tool. Try it. Both VoodooPad and FlySketch are available for one week free.

Other tools similar (but different) to VoodooPad are DevonThink, Tinderbox, OmniOutliner, NoteTaker, NoteBook, and finally NovaMind (that I'm using when I prepare lectures). This NYT article discuss all of them except VoodooPad and NovaMind (see also the About This Particular Outliner column). [via]
