Lisp on Mac
Recently I have had time to do some more Lisp programming. At my local department we have a license for a comercial Lisp implmentation (Franz), but the license does not cover my architecture (Mac). Well, other options exists. I do most of my writing (programming and texts) in Emacs, and Aquamacs is the distribution that I currently prefere on my Mac (Emacs.app could be a replacement in the future). When programming Lisp in Emacs, Slime is the obvious choice. You want to have access to the Common Lisp HyperSpec, and this posting shows how this can be done with w3m and Aquamacs.
Update: Ltk is an option if you want to implement GUIs in Lisp on your Mac. Christopher Roach have more information. He also suggest either OpenMCL or SBCL as Lisp implementations to use with Ltk on yor Mac (easiest setup).
