New HW for the web-server
The HW for this web-server has been upgraded. I tried to upgrade from Plone 2.0.5 to 2.1.2 (and from Zope 2.7.X to Zope 2.8.5) at the same time, but without any success. I will investigate this futher, but it has always been a pain to migrate content from and older versions of Plone (and Zope) to a newer version. This just adds to my other frustrations with Plone and Zope. On this web server I'm hosting 4 different sites, and I might have success with the migration of one site, but never all (or even two). Since they share Data.fs, I decided to go back to Plone 2.0.5 for all of them. The problem is that I want to use some Plone products that are only avilable for Plone 2.1 or newever.
