GPS, maps, web and stuff
Wayfaring is a nice web application of you want to create an annotated map that includes tracks or routes, waypoints (points of interest), text, images and video (see my example). I use Flickr to store my photos and YouTube for my videos. GoogleGPX uses the Googles Maps API to plot tracks from GPX files. ClueTrust provides LoadMyTracks, a program for importing GPS data into Macintosh computers (both gpx and kml – kml for Google Earth). They also provide the Cartographica.Com, a web site featuring information about mapping, GIS, GPS and other related technologies. MacGPS Pro is a software I have to buy to try. Will the Garmin support for Mac make MacGPS Pro unnecessary? Mac SimpleGPS is a tool for your Mac to manage tracks, routes and waypoints.
