New version of Firebug from the Firefox creator Joe Hewitt
In my search for Ajax and web development resources, I found Firebug, the perfect debug tool for web-development (you can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page). Joe Hewitt, who developed Firebug and before that Firefox together with Blake Ross (see the front page of IEEE Spectrum this month), is now taking Firebug to the next step. Firebug 1.0 is now in beta, and the final version will be available for a fair price.
