PhotoInfoEditor, GPSPhotoLinker and Geotagger

PhotoInfoEditor is a photo meta-data editor. It can be used to change the latitude and longitude, the location, the description, and the notes of photo files (JPEG/RAW/Tiff) It can also be used to change all the names of your photo files at once. GPS Photo Linker can be used to save location and GPS position data to a photo. It can automatically insert geocoding info into pictures by linking the photo to a GPX format log file from a stand-along GPS receiver. The clock on your GPS and your camera has to be in sync. Craig Stanton has created Geotagger that allows you to mark photo locations using Google Earth 4 (this other GeoTagger is a compact device that connects to the camera flash and records the precise location direction the photographs you take). Craig Stanton has also created an iPhoto 6 plugin, iPhotoToGoogleEarth, that will export photos for viewing in Google Earth. [via]
