Shrink URL service for your Mac based on TinyURL
The TinyURL system service by Rachel Blackman does it all for you (see original announcement and the anouncement of the latest version, 0.3). TinyURL system service adds a 'Shrink URL' option to the Mac OS X services menu. Mark a URL and select Shrink URL. The highlighted URL will be replaced with a TinyURL equivalent (or a copy of the new URL will be added to the clipboard). Very nice! [via]
