FK Norway : Forum 2006 : Workshops

Workshops

Fredskorpset (FK) will organize workshops as a part of the programme during the FK IACM 2006, on 8 September. The work shops will last for two hours, and there will be three parallel work shops running from 0900 to 1100 and from 1100 to 1300.

The intention of the workshops is to create an arena where the partner representatives can share best practices as well as give new advice and suggestions to Fredskorpset’s board and administration on a general level.

The topics chosen for this year’s work shops are:

1. The values of FK;

Solidarity, reciprocity, equality and transparency.
Are we, partners and FK alike, successful in incorporating these values in our work, and how can we become even better?

2. Transfer of knowledge/competency on the individual and institutional level.

What did you as a partner expect to gain from the FK exchange programme, what have you gained and how do we secure that the participants’ new knowledge is incorporated on the institutional level?

The methodology on the workshops will be participatory, and we will create an environment for sharing of experiences and best practises, from the partners to Fredskorpset as well as between the partners.

Participation

Due to the large number of partner representatives coming to the FK IACM 2006, FK can not cater for all representatives to participate in the work shops. Hence, a representative from each partnership will be selected by FK, and will receive an invitation to participate along with detailed information about the aim and content of the work shops.
