TITAN boasts 2 SUN Blade 6000 Family racks containing 96 compute nodes.

The two 6048 SUN Blade racks contains 96 X6220 blade nodes having the following speck:

  • Two dual core AMD CPUs @ 2.6GHz (upgraded to two times quad core CPUs @ 2.3 GHz 2008Q2)
  • Power consumption: 95W
  • 16GB memory
  • InfiniBand interconnect connected directly into the TITAN magnum switch
  • Dimensions: H:4.4*W:32.7*D:49.7cm
