Installation of F-Secure Anti Virus

Before installation

Note; It is important that you remove any other anti virus programs from your computer. Go to Start - Control Panel - Add/remove programs. If you have two anti virus programs installed at the same time they will sometimes interfere with each other, the computer will in some instances act extremely slow and sluggish, and will in some cases not boot properly. The solution to this problem is to start the computer in safe mode and remove one of the anti virus programs.

Installation

You can install F-Secure Anti Virus directely from Progdist, or from a CD borrowed from Orakeltjenesten.

Progdist

1. Map Progdist
2. Go to the following folders Campus/F_Secure_Anti_Virus/5.44/kilde/install Note, if newer versions are avaliable they will be added under here.
3. Double click on the setup file named fsavwks544_eng and follow the instructions. The serial number can be found in the file named LesMeg.txt
4. Restart your computer.

From a CD

1. Insert the CD
2. Find the folder named F-Secure Anti Virus
3. Double click on the setup file named fsavwks544_eng and follow the instructions. The serial number can be found in the file named LesMeg.txt
4. Restart the computer.
