CMC Conferences
The CMC programme organises conferences as part of the common network with the purpose to stimulate cross-disciplinary contact, research and publication.
Core conferences
The opening conference was held in October 2003. This was a state-of-the-art conference for CMC research at the University of Oslo.
The second conference was held in November 2004 focusing on Internet Governance . Questions discussed were: Who controls the Internet? What is the technological and legal basis for such control? Should the Internet be regulated in the future?
The final conference will be organised 22-23. November 2007 based on findings and perspectives held by the large group of CMC research projects and their international networks. The conference website will be opened in the end of October 2006.
