I started my PhD in April 2007. I am working on the modeling of energy systems and energy intensive industries in multi-regional input output analysis, with the aim to better understand regional differences in the energy intensity of traded products. My PhD is part of the EU project EXIOPOL (A New Environmental Accounting Framework Using Externality Data and Input-Output Tools for Policy Analysis). I have a Masters degree in Engineering Physics from the Technical University of Lisbon (IST).
