The topic of my thesis is environmental life cycle analyses of fishing vessels and fish value chains.The aim is to develop a methodology that makes it possible to use environmental life cycle analysis tool on complex systems like a fishing vessel and the fish product. I am also looking at how the result from the LCA can be communicated to interested parties by environmental product declaration (EPD) type III. Developing product category rules (PCR) that describes the EPD and how to perform the LCA is an important task.
