Library offers trial access to ISI Journal Citation Reports
The library offers trial access to ISI Journal Citation Reportsa. The database presents quantifiable statistical data that provides a systematic, objective way to evaluate the world's leadning journals and their impact and influence in the global research community. The trial access will run until 30 November 2007.

Library offers access to JSTOR
The library can now offer access to JSTOR, a collection of fulltext journals covering the editions from volume 1, issue 1, except for the 5 most recent years. All subject areas are covered.

Through Hoover's Company Records the library offers an international collection of thousands of company profiles. The profiles contain information such as economic results, key people and competitors. See for example Statoil or Telenor.

Through the search service ProQuest, the library can offer access to EIU ViewsWire, which contains business intelligence on more than 200 countries. Topics covered include Politics, Business, Economy, Finance and Regulations.

Library offers trial access to resources from EBSCO
Until November, the library can offer trial access to a long list of electronic resources from EBSCO. This trial access includes among others Academic Search Premier, Business Source Complete, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, Education Research Complete and SocINDEX with Full Text.

Opening hours at the library
As of Monday 14.08.2006, the main library at Mørkved is open from 08.00 until 19.00 Monday to Thursday, and 08.00 until 15.00 on Fridays.

Important information about a change in the data systems for students
From Friday 11th August there will be some changes in Bodø University College's data systems. The most important change is that all students, both new and old, must activate their user ID through using a self-activation portal.

The library can now offer students and faculty access to ETDEWEB, a searchable collection of more than 3.5 million references to literature on the subject of energy.

Library-database Kluwer merges with SpringerLink
All the electronic journals previously available through Kluwer's own interface are now available in SpringerLink, and Kluwer has ceased to exist as a separate webiste.

Library 1st floor now open 24 hours a day!
As of monday 23.05.2005 the first floor of the new library will be open 24 hours a day, independently of the opening hours of the Library. When the Library is closed, the stairs down to the ground floor will be closed with a gate and an alarm-system.
