In this study, a set of pollutants was analysed for in adipose tissue from 107 female polar bears from 9 different subpopulations. No Russian polar bears were sampled.
Age-adjusted mean pollution levels in polar bears from 9 subpopulations
There were consistent patterns in pollutant levels related to longitude for all pollutants.
