Supportive Measures 2007-2009
NUFU introduces in the fourth period the category of Supportive measures for sustainability and termination of project cooperation. The support is directed to projects that have received NUFU support for two periods (approximately 10 years). The maximum amount to each project is NOK 1,5 million and cannot exceed a period of two years.

The overall aim of the activities are to secure sustainability of capacity and competence at the partner institution in the South developed during the project period 2002-2006.
Projects under this category may include activities like:
- Completion/extension of research activities
- Small scale research projects as continuation of PhD research (Post doc)
- Publication and dissemination of research results
- Training of technical and administrative staff
- Meetings and workshops for participants in network projects
