This course is required by all students specializing in computer security/cryptography. Covers coding of text, cryptosystems with symmetrical and asymmetrical keys, hash functions, elekcronic signatures, key generation and exchange with application to cryptosystems for email. The prerequisite is MAT-1300 Discrete mathematics 2. | Recommended previous qualifications
