This week began with the information meeting on the 24th August. 10 new people attended the meeting, and most of them gave the feedback that they were happy about the meeting. 4 of the new participants have already joined the Smartgroups service.
On the information meeting, the attendants were asked for interest in a weekend trip out. It was agreed upon a trip out in week 37, i.e. 11th to 12th Sept. The suggested location for this trip were the students sports union's house on Brenshomen, however it seems like this location already is occupied. There were also consensus on that this social activity should be used to make some useful work, to have a organizatorical focus for the event.
In the end of this week -35- Alberto have initiated a film/dialogue seminar about the non-violent movement and it's history over the last 30 years. The Background for this is that Vidar Vambheim at the CPS had got his hands on this double volume film together with seminar material for it. Vidar had asked for a student structure which could help him organize a seminar based upon these film. Now Alberto on behalf of the SNF is working with the CPS to organize this seminar. It is temporarly scheduled to week 38, i.e. 15th and 16th of Sept in the evenings.
