When a student dies...

Students at the University of Tromsø are, as anyone, disposed by illness and accidents. Every year we meet the fact that students at our university dies.
At the University of Tromsø we have a preparedness group, with employees from the Student Welfare Office , University administration and the Student Chaplain. This group can assist students in the griefment work, and help arrange a memorial.

Here you will find competent resource-persons in different areas, prepared to be contacted by individuals or groups of students who need somebody to help dealing with difficult situations.
The University of Tromsø also provide a Griefment Group to follow up students in grief. The Griefment group in lead by a counsellor from the Welfare Office and the Student Chaplain.
