Integrate your operations: cooperate across borders

Would you like to get exposed to a variety of different technologies and research from different fields of study? Would you like to combine these areas and your own expertise to create brand new ideas? Do you like to be innovative, creative and adventurous? Then come to Norway and together with students like yourself work out the technologies of tomorrow!

The course will consist of two parts. You will first be introduced to different technologies within the area of petroleum, like CAVE, haptic arms, laserscan, a VR-hand and much more. NTNU have many professors with expertise in these technologies. We will also be able to see some of them in action by visiting companies.

During the second part you will be placed in mixed groups with students from different disciplines of study to work out how these and other technologies can be combined to make new tools for the industry. How can you use your engineering education, for example from civil or mechanical, in the field of petroleum?

The examination will be the presentation of your work (Power-point presentation, video, homepage etc.).

But the course will not just be work and studies. It will be a unique way for you to visit the beautiful landscape and nature of Norway. Do you want to see where the Vikings and trolls came from?
