Take a challenge
- Form the technology of the future

Do you want to revolutionize the world by novel and important technology? Do you want to build new computers which are more effective and innovative? Do you want to make new, intelligent materials and components by building them up atom by atom? Do you want to construct small nano robots that remove cholesterol from the wall inside the blood vessels molecule by molecule? Do you want to make new ways of communication between electronics and nerves so that deaf can hear and blind can see? This can perhaps be a possibility in the future.

Electronics and information technology (ICT) have for the last 50 years been characterized by an extreme growth without parallel. Important applications are up-to-date information technology and telecommunication, equipment for recording and playing sound and images, sensors and control systems, instrumentation and measuring instruments.

The use of this completely new technology gives unthought-of possibilities. We already see how electronic networks make you able to search for large amount of information, the CD- shelves disappears and you can watch TV-programs whenever you want. Flat screens with network connections replace TVs. Microprocessors and electronic sensors make cars, ships, trains and airplanes more practical, environmentally friendly and safe. The electronics gives us medical equipments for looking inside the body, mine-detectors and other instruments to looking into the earth and satellites to look into space.

Do you want to find out more about taking part in the development of the technology of the future? Please check out our brochures for the electronics program (pdf) or order it here]
