The workshops
The Research school organizes 1-2 workshops each semester with a focus on giving the students practical experience and a theoretical background in using different experimental techniques. A workshop will typically last for two days with invited lectures by an internationally renowned researcher, and hands-on sessions in using the equipment and data analysis. The topics of the workshops are decided after requests from the school's members.
