The conference fee for QC is 8000.- NOK (appr. 970 Euro), and includes the following:

-           4 nights at Finnholmen Brygge (31st -4th), breakfast, lunch and dinner included. This is based on double occupancy at the hotel. If a single room is preferred, an additional charge of NOK 200 (25 Euro) per night will be added.  Please indicate your preference on the registration form.

-           The Coastal Steamer, round trip Bodø-Svolvær (31st and 4th of August.

            (You will arrive in Bodø on the 5th at 01.00 in the morning).

-           Transportation in the Lofoten area.

-           Conference material.

Travel to and from Bodø, and logging beyond the 4 nights in Lofoten at Finnholmen, is covered by the participant.

The organizing body, Bodø Graduate School of Business, will apply on your behalf, so please indicate your interest when you register. The deadline is June 1st, so we need to receive the necessary information by May 20th at the latest. 

Because of limited space in the plenary conference room at Finnholmen Brygge, we can only allow up to 25 Doctoral students to participate. If more than 25 register for the conference, we will give priority to qualified students who registered first.

Deadlines

We kindly ask you to notice the following deadlines:

•           Registration, submission of abstract and CV:  May 1st, 2006

•           Payment: 1st of July, 2006

•           Submission of paper/proposal: July 15th, 2006

The abstract should cover a description of your Ph.D project, and it should be no longer than 300 words. As a rough guide, papers should be no more than 15 pages in length (proposals can be shorter), not including charts and references - line spacing should be 1 1/2 (one and a half).  The papers should focus on the research problem and methodological issues concerning your research.  Further guidelines about the paper will be given upon registration or by inquiry.
